Reconstructive Surgery Skin Resurfacing

In laser resurfacing, sometimes called "laser peel," a variety of lasers can be used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin. Depending upon the depth of the laser peel, a patient may be able to return to work the next day or have to wait a week or more. After about two weeks or so, most patients can safely apply makeup to conceal this temporary color change.
