Dr. Heather Karu

Dr. Heather Karu received her medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University where she was chief surgery resident. She completed her Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Karu will see patients for both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery needs. Dr. Karu was the first, and is the only female plastic surgeon in the region. She is a member of IMSA (International Medical Spa Association) and is also the Medical Director of Vivaz Medical Spa.
